Sanding Discs & Pads

Sanding discs and backing pads for orbital sanders and angle grinders. Abracs, in self-adhesive, fibre and hook and loop types, from coarse stock removal through to fine finishing — plus the backing pads each type needs to run.

Self-adhesive sanding discs
150mm PSA sticky-back discs for orbital and DA sanders. Peel and press onto a smooth pad. For general sanding and finishing on wood, paint and filler.

Fibre sanding discs
Tough resin-bonded discs, 100mm to 178mm, for angle grinders. For heavy work — grinding, stripping and stock removal on metal. Run on a threaded backing pad.

Hook and loop sanding discs
125mm 8-hole and 150mm 6-hole grip discs for orbital and DA sanders, with dust-extraction holes. Press on, peel off for fast grit changes.

Backing pads
Every disc type needs the right pad. M14 pads for fibre discs on angle grinders; smooth PSA and grip hook and loop pads for discs on orbital sanders.

Which disc for which tool
Angle grinder work uses fibre discs on a threaded pad. Orbital and DA sander work uses PSA or hook and loop discs. The two are not interchangeable — the disc, the pad and the tool all have to match.
