SDS shank auger bits bore deep, clean holes in hard and soft wood using an SDS drill — spiral wood augers with a screw lead point and an SDS Plus shank, so the drill you use for masonry doubles up for heavy timber work.

SDS Plus shank — fits straight into an SDS drill. Run it in rotary (drill) mode; hammer action isn't used for wood.

Point & flute
Screw lead point self-feeds through the timber and the deep flute clears waste fast for quick, clean deep holes.
