Crimp ferrules that gather the strands of a flexible conductor into a solid, tidy pin, dispatched from our Leeds warehouse. Fitting a ferrule stops strands splaying out of a screw terminal, gives a reliable clamped connection, and makes the finished job look right.

Insulated ferrules — a plastic collar over the crimp barrel that supports the cable, protects the insulation and colour codes the size. Available in French and German styles.

French or German? The two styles follow different European standards, and their colour coding for a given conductor size is not the same. Match whichever system your existing wiring or ferrule kit uses, and check the size on the product page rather than going by colour alone.

Twin entry ferrules — take two conductors into a single crimp, for looping through a terminal or joining a pair of cables into one connection.

Uninsulated ferrules — plain metal cord end crimps with no collar, for tight terminal blocks and larger conductors.

Crimping — ferrules need a proper ferrule crimp tool with a square or hexagonal die. Pliers will not give a sound connection.
