Collection: Packing Tape

Packing tape, also called parcel tape, for sealing boxes, cartons and parcels quickly and securely. This range covers brown, clear and printed fragile tape, and the guide below explains how to choose.

Brown or clear — Brown (buff) and clear tape do the same job of sealing boxes and cartons; the choice is mainly appearance. Clear tape blends in on printed and branded boxes, while brown suits plain cartons and gives a tidy, uniform finish across a dispatch. Both hold seams and flaps securely for transit.

Fragile tape — Printed fragile tape seals the parcel and warns handlers to take care in one step, making it the choice for breakable and delicate items going through the post or a courier. Using it in place of plain tape adds a clear handling instruction at no extra effort.

Choosing for the job — Use brown or clear for general box sealing and fragile for anything breakable. For fast, repeated sealing, a tape dispenser or gun makes the job quicker and gives a cleaner finish. Keep a spread of types to hand so every parcel gets the right tape.
