Collection: Spindle Wire Brushes

Spindle-mounted wire brushes on a 6mm shank, for a drill or die grinder. For detail cleaning, deburring and rust removal in tight spots where a full-size angle grinder brush is too big. Mostly crimped brass-dipped wire for general work, with a twist-knot option for heavier stripping.

Spindle wheel brush
A flat wheel that works on its edge, into flat areas and along lines. 50mm and 75mm.

Spindle cup brush
A forward-facing cup that works face-on into surfaces and corners. 50mm and 75mm.

Small spindle brush
A compact wheel for slots, recesses and small parts, in 19mm crimped or 22mm twist-knot.

Not angle grinder brushes
These are low-speed brushes rated to a maximum of 4,500 RPM, for drills and die grinders — never fit one to an angle grinder or run it at grinder speeds. For angle grinder brushes, see our cup brushes and wheel brushes.

Safety
Clamp the shank fully in the chuck, never exceed 4,500 RPM, and wear eye protection, as wire brushes shed wires in use.

Also known as spindle brushes, drill wire brushes, mounted wire brushes, 6mm shank brushes or die grinder brushes.
