Hook & Loop Sanding Discs

Hook and loop sanding discs with dust-extraction holes, for orbital and dual-action sanders. Industrial-quality aluminium oxide grain on a grip backing — press the disc onto the pad, sand, then peel it off to change grit in seconds. Available 125mm with 8 holes and 150mm with 6 holes.

Match the holes to your pad and sander
The extraction holes only work if they line up with the holes in your backing pad. A 150mm sander uses the 6-hole disc; a 125mm sander uses the 8-hole disc. Check your pad's size and hole pattern before ordering.

Why dust extraction matters
Pulling dust off the surface as you sand keeps the abrasive from clogging, lets you see the work, and makes for a cleaner job — especially on paint, filler and wood.

Choosing a grit
40 (coarse) for stripping and stock removal. 80 and 120 (medium) for general sanding. 180 (fine) and 320 (very fine) for finishing and flatting between coats.

You will need a hook and loop pad
