Collection: PVC Insulation Tape

PVC insulation tape for electrical work, cable identification and general workshop use. This guide covers the choices that matter so you order the right roll.

Electrical insulation tape — Adhesive PVC tape is the standard for insulating and protecting electrical connections, wrapping cable and finishing terminations. It stretches slightly to conform around joints and holds firm once wrapped. It comes in a range of colours, commonly used to identify phases, circuits and cables on an installation, so you can order single colours or a mixed set to suit the job.

Choosing a width — Narrower tape suits fine work and getting into tight spaces around individual cores and connectors; wider tape covers more in a single wrap and suits larger cables and bundles. Pick the width to match the size of what you are wrapping.

Non-adhesive PVC tape — Non-adhesive tape is wrapped under tension and used mainly for bundling and harnessing cable looms, where an adhesive residue is not wanted. It protects and tidies the loom without sticking to the cables themselves.
