Collection: Mini Blade Fuses & Holders

Mini blade fuses and holders for automotive and 12V wiring, protecting circuits against overload and short circuits. This guide explains how to choose them.

Mini blade fuses — A mini blade fuse (also called a mini or APM fuse) is the smaller version of the standard blade fuse, used in modern fuse boxes and add-a-circuit setups where space is tight. Each rating is colour-coded so you can identify it at a glance. The correct rating is set by the wiring and the circuit it protects, so match the fuse to the circuit rather than fitting a higher rating to stop it blowing. Confirm the amperage you need before ordering.

Inline fuse holders — An inline holder lets you add a fused connection to an existing circuit or accessory, wiring the fuse into the run itself. It suits add-on accessories, auxiliary circuits and anywhere a fuse box position is not available. Choose a holder rated for the circuit and sized to your cable.

Choosing the pair — Order the fuse and holder together so the rating and fit match. Keep a spread of ratings to hand, as the fuse is a consumable that needs replacing when a fault blows it. If a fuse keeps blowing, the fault needs fixing rather than fitting a higher rating.
