Self Amalgamating Tape 50mm – Black Self-Fusing Waterproof Electrical Tape

Black self-amalgamating tape, 50mm wide — a self-fusing rubber tape that bonds only to itself, with no glue or adhesive. Stretch it as you wrap (about twice its length, with a 50% overlap) and within minutes the layers fuse into a single, seamless rubber mass that's waterproof and electrically insulating. It peels away cleanly later with no sticky residue. Available in 5m and 10m rolls.

Uses
Insulating and waterproofing cable joints and electrical connections, sealing coax and antenna connectors, repairing hoses and pipes, corrosion protection, and emergency marine and automotive repairs.

How to apply
Remove the backing film, then stretch the tape and wrap it under tension with a 50% overlap onto a clean, grease-free surface. The layers self-fuse into a solid, waterproof seal — no curing time.
