Continental Fuses (Torpedo/Bosch Type) — 5A to 40A, Classic Car

Continental fuses, the torpedo-shaped "Bosch type" fuse used extensively in classic and older European vehicles. The exposed fuse element runs between the two pointed metal caps, so you can see at a glance whether it has blown.
