Speed Fasteners & Spire Nuts

Sprung steel clips that push over the edge of a panel to give a threaded fixing point where there isn't one. Known by several names — speed fasteners, speed nuts, spire nuts, spire clips, U nuts, U clips and chimney nuts — they all do the same job: slide onto the panel, line the hole up, and drive a self tapping screw straight into the clip.

Where they're used — trim panels, car body and interior fixings, wheel arch liners, splash guards, appliance and cabinet panels, and anywhere a screw needs to grip thin sheet material.

Sizes — imperial screw sizes No.6, No.8, No.10, No.12 and No.14, plus metric chimney nut clips in 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 8mm.

Assorted & bulk — available as single sizes, as bulk packs, and as assorted boxes in a partitioned storage case so you have the right size to hand.
