Automotive Micro Relays

Compact 12V and 24V micro relays for switching high current circuits from a low current signal, dispatched from our Leeds warehouse. Used across cars, vans, motorcycles, boats and light commercials for lighting, horns, fuel pumps, fans and auxiliary circuits.

4 pin, normally open — a simple on/off switch (SPST) that closes the circuit when the relay is energised. Available plain, with a diode, or with a resistor.

5 pin, changeover — a changeover contact (SPDT) that switches between two circuits, so one output goes live while the other goes dead. Available plain, with a diode, or with a resistor.

Diode or resistor — both suppress the voltage spike produced when the relay coil switches off, protecting sensitive electronics. A diode is polarity sensitive and must be wired the correct way round; a resistor is not.

Voltage & rating — 12V units rated at 40A, plus a 24V 20A option for commercial vehicles and larger installations.
