Collection: Mini Cut-Off Wheels
Mini cut-off wheels at 75mm with a 10mm bore, in 1mm, 1.6mm and 2mm thicknesses, for air cut-off tools and mini angle grinders. Abracs, suitable for stainless steel and mild steel, rated to 20,100 RPM.
What they are for
Close, controlled cutting in spaces a full-size grinder cannot reach. The small diameter and flat profile let you get in behind panels, alongside brackets and up against fixings — vehicle body work, exhaust sections, seized and rusted bolts, studding, clips and bracketry.
Choosing a thickness
This is the only difference between the three, and it is a straight trade-off. The 1mm wheel cuts fastest and cleanest with the least burr, but wears quickest — best where precision matters most. The 2mm wheel cuts more slowly and takes out more material, but stands up to heavier, more aggressive work. The 1.6mm sits between the two and is the usual first choice if you only want to stock one.
Which tools they fit
All three have a 10mm bore, suiting air cut-off tools, mini angle grinders and die grinders fitted with a 10mm mandrel. For the best wheel life, run them on a high-speed air tool with a 1/4" chuck or larger.
Safety
Never exceed the 20,100 RPM maximum, and check your tool's rated speed is at or below it. These are cutting wheels only — never use the face for grinding, as side loading can shatter the wheel. Use the tool's guard and wear eye protection.
Also known as 3 inch cutting discs, air cut-off tool discs, mini cutting discs, 75mm slitting discs or mini angle grinder discs.
