Plasterboard Fixings

Cavity wall anchors for fixing into plasterboard, dispatched from our Leeds warehouse. Plasterboard on its own won't hold a screw — an ordinary wall plug simply pulls through the board. These fixings spread the load behind the sheet so shelves, brackets, radiators and cabinets stay put.

Self drilling speed plugs — screw straight into the board with a screwdriver or driver, no pilot hole required, then take the fixing screw. Quick to fit and easy to remove, in a range of sizes and pack quantities.

Heavy duty self drive fixings — 32mm metal cavity anchors supplied complete with screws, for heavier loads where a plastic plug isn't enough.

Choosing a fixing — match the fixing to the weight it will carry and to the thickness of your board. For anything genuinely heavy, fix into the stud or a noggin behind the board rather than into the plasterboard itself.
