Sandpaper Sheets & Rolls

Sandpaper sheets and rolls for hand sanding, in three abrasive types plus emery rolls. Abracs quality, all 280mm x 230mm sheets or 50m rolls, available singly or in packs. The right sheet depends on what you are working and whether you are sanding wet or dry.

Emery cloth sheets
Aluminium oxide on a blue J-weight twill cloth backing. The tough, long-lasting choice for working metal — rust removal, deburring and polishing steel, iron and non-ferrous.

Production paper sheets
Aluminium oxide on a paper backing. The everyday general-purpose sandpaper for bare wood, paint stripping and surface prep — the cost-effective sheet for woodwork and decorating.

Wet & dry sheets
Waterproof silicon carbide, used wet or dry. The finishing abrasive for paint, primer and bodywork, in grits up to an ultra-fine 2000 — popular in the automotive trade.

Emery roll
The same aluminium oxide cloth as our emery sheets, on a 25mm x 50m dispenser roll. Tear off the length you need to wrap bar, tube and threads.

Which sheet for the job
Metal, dry: emery cloth. Wood and paint, dry: production paper. Paint and bodywork, wet or dry finishing: wet & dry. Match the grit to the stage of the job — coarse to strip and shape, fine to finish.
