Collection: P Clips
P clips secure cable, hose, pipe and conduit to a surface with a single fixing. This range covers nylon and rubber-lined metal clips, and the guide below explains how to choose between them.
Nylon P clips — Lightweight plastic clips for cable management and light tubing runs, holding wiring and small-bore tube neatly against a panel or frame. They are non-conductive and will not corrode, which suits general wiring, dashboards and interior work.
Rubber-lined metal P clips — A steel clip with a rubber lining that grips the pipe or hose, cushions it and damps vibration, making it the choice for fuel, brake, hydraulic and coolant lines as well as heavier cable. The lining protects the pipe surface and stops rattles on anything that moves or vibrates.
Choosing the metal — Zinc-plated steel (W1) suits dry, indoor and general use where cost matters. Stainless steel (W4) offers greater corrosion resistance for exposed, damp or underbody positions. Choose stainless where moisture, road spray or the outdoors are a factor, and zinc-plated for protected environments.
Choosing a size — P clips are sized to the outside diameter of the cable, hose or pipe they hold. Measure the outside diameter and pick the clip to match, so it grips without crushing. Order the sizes you use most or a mixed selection to cover a range.
