Non-Woven Hand Pads 225 x 150mm — Scuff Pads, Fine to Coarse

Non-woven hand pads for cleaning, blending and finishing metal, stainless steel, aluminium and plastic by hand. A flexible abrasive pad — the "scuff pad" or Scotchbrite-type pad — that cleans and keys a surface without the aggression of wire wool or sandpaper, and won't shed or rust into the work. Folds and rolls to get into grooves, corners and awkward shapes a flat abrasive can't reach.

Colour is the grade
Grey (fine) for light cleaning, finishing and keying before paint. Maroon (medium) for general surface preparation and scuffing. Green (coarse) for heavier cleaning and stripping. Choose above.

Why a non-woven pad
The open non-woven construction resists loading (clogging), so it keeps cutting and lasts longer than it looks like it should. It gives a consistent finish, won't gouge like sandpaper, and unlike steel wool it leaves no fibres and cannot rust — which is why it's the choice on stainless and aluminium.
