400pc Assorted Box of Nyloc Nuts - 400 metric nyloc nuts, hexagon nuts with a nylon insert collar, covering six thread sizes from M5 up to M14.

The nylon collar sits above the thread and grips the bolt as it passes through, so the nut holds its position against vibration rather than working loose the way a plain nut can. That makes them the usual choice on trailers, towing gear, mowers and anything that shakes in service, and they do the job a lock washer or thread lock would otherwise be needed for.

The nylon insert limits these to moderate temperatures, so they are not suitable for exhaust or other hot applications. The locking effect is reduced once a nut has been removed and refitted, so fit a new one where the joint matters.
