360pc Assorted Heat Shrink Tubing Box - Black 2:1, 1.6mm to 19.1mm

360pc Assorted Box of Heat Shrink Tubing - 360 black 2:1 heatshrink sleeves in eight diameters from 1.6mm to 19.1mm, supplied as 40mm pre-cut pieces ready to slide straight onto the job.

2:1 tubing shrinks to half its supplied diameter under heat, so each size covers a range of wires and terminals rather than one. Slide on a piece that fits easily, warm it with a hot air gun and it pulls down tight onto the insulation. Over a crimp terminal, a soldered joint or a repaired section it insulates the connection, keeps damp off the copper and supports the wire where it leaves the terminal, which is where most wiring repairs fail.

Every piece in this box is a 40mm length, sized for terminals, joints and short repairs rather than for sleeving a long run. The tubing is not adhesive lined, so it insulates and resists splash but does not seal watertight - submerged or permanently exposed joints need adhesive lined tubing.
