200pc Assorted Box of Wing Nuts - 200 bright zinc plated steel wing nuts, also known as butterfly nuts, in five metric sizes from M5 up to M12, metric coarse thread.

The wings are there so you never need a spanner. Anything that comes off regularly - an air filter cover, a battery clamp, a tarpaulin eyelet, an inspection panel - is quicker and easier with a wing nut on it, and you are not hunting for the right size socket every time. They also go back on finger tight in the right place, which matters on thin covers and plastic housings where a spanner is what cracks them.

Please note
A wing nut is hand tight by design, so it holds where finger pressure is enough and no specified torque is called for. It is not the fastener for a joint that carries load, sees vibration or needs to stay put - and a fixed guard that has to be removed with a tool should not be converted to hand removal. Bright zinc is a light duty finish, so around a battery, where acid vapour attacks plating quickly, or anywhere outdoors, stainless is the better choice.
