60pc Assorted Box of Brake Bleed Screws - 60 brake bleed screws, also called bleed nipples, in six thread sizes covering both metric and UNF, ten of each.

The bleed screw threads into the caliper or wheel cylinder and is cracked open to let trapped air out of the hydraulic system. It is also the part that seizes, rounds off or snaps when somebody puts a spanner on it after ten years of road salt, which is why a box of them is worth having before you start a brake job rather than after. Six threads cover the common fitments across cars, vans, bikes and older machinery, so a seized nipple does not stop the job while you wait for a part.

Please note
Check the length as well as the thread when replacing a bleed screw - too long and it bottoms out before it seals, too short and it will not reach the seat. Where the original used a sealing washer, fit a new one rather than reusing the old. Tighten to seal but no harder, as the seat is a taper and it is easily damaged, and bleed the system through and check for leaks before the vehicle goes back on the road.
