250pc Assorted Copper Washers Box - Metric M6 to M26

250pc Assorted Box of Copper Compression Washers - 250 copper sealing washers in ten metric sizes with bores from 6mm up to 26mm, in thicknesses of 1.5mm, 2mm and 2.5mm.

Copper crushes into the sealing face as the fitting is pulled up, taking up the imperfections in both faces without any compound. This is the heavier gauge box: the washers run 1.5mm to 2.5mm thick and the range goes up to a 26mm bore, which suits sump and gearbox plugs, larger hydraulic fittings and anywhere a thin washer would bottom out before it sealed.

Copper washers seal best fitted new. One that has already been crushed will not seal as reliably again unless it is annealed first.
