208pc Assorted Copper Butt Connectors Box - 6mm² to 95mm²

208pc Assorted Box of Copper Butt Connectors - 208 uninsulated copper butt connectors covering eight cable sizes from 6mm² right up to 95mm².

Each connector is a solid copper tube that takes a cable into each end and is crimped down hard to form a permanent joint. Done properly the joint carries the full current the cable can carry, with no added resistance and nothing to work loose, which is what separates it from a bolted or taped repair on anything drawing serious current. That is why these are what you use on battery and starter leads rather than an insulated crimp - at 400 amps through a starter circuit, a joint that is merely tight is a joint that gets hot.

Please note
These need a hydraulic or heavy duty hex crimping tool. Copper tube of this wall thickness cannot be crimped properly with hand crimpers or pliers, and a joint that has not been fully compressed will heat up under load. The connectors are supplied uninsulated, so the finished joint needs sleeving with heat shrink or taping to insulate it.
