1000pc Assorted Box of Split Pins - 1000 bright zinc plated imperial split pins, also called cotter pins, in seven sizes from 1/16" up to 5/32" diameter.
A split pin goes through a drilled hole and has its legs bent back so it cannot work its way out. That is how a castle nut is locked on a hub or a track rod end, and how a clevis pin is kept in place on a linkage. They are single use, bent once and thrown away, so they go through in quantity on any servicing or restoration job and a thousand of them lasts a good while.
