Corrugated Hose

Why corrugated — The convoluted, ribbed wall lets the hose flex and bend far more tightly than a smooth hose while keeping the bore open, so it will not kink and cut off the flow. The ribs also give it strength against crushing, which makes it the choice for runs that twist, turn or move.

What it is used for — Flexible corrugated hose suits water transfer and drainage, pond and pump connections, ducting and air movement, and general low-pressure runs where flexibility and a tight bend radius matter more than pressure. Being black, it stands up to outdoor and exposed use.

Choosing the bore — Corrugated hose is sized by bore, which sets the flow and the fitting or spigot it connects to. Measure the bore you need and match the hose and any connectors or clips to it, so it seats and seals correctly.
