Please note
Check the conductor type as well as the size. Solid cable is accepted from 0.5mm² but stranded only from 1.0mm², so thin flex at 0.5 and 0.75mm² - common on pendant and light fitting leads - is outside the range for these. Strip to the length given on the connector body and push the conductor fully home until it seats, and give it a light pull to confirm the spring has taken hold.
